Who are we?
We are a proudly Macarena company, committed to the care and preservation of the River of Five Colors, one of our country's most emblematic natural wonders. Since 2010, we have had the honor of welcoming more than 15,000 visitors, both Colombian and international, from over 50 countries around the world. Our work focuses on offering authentic experiences that connect people with the natural beauty of La Macarena, promoting responsible and sustainable tourism.

Our Mission
Caño Cristales Aventura Tours SAS's mission is to contribute to comprehensive and sustainable development at the local and regional levels, promoting the protection of the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of the area. Through our work as a local operating agency, we provide meaningful experiences that connect visitors with the environmental and social richness of La Macarena, while strengthening the community, generating decent employment opportunities for young people, and contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. Our commitment is to contribute to a tourism model that respects ancestral knowledge, biodiversity, and the rights of those who inhabit and care for this area, while also ensuring the well-being, job security, and human development of our employees, in coordination with other companies and stakeholders that make up the local value chain.

At Caño Cristales Aventura Tours SAS, we are committed to developing responsible, sustainable, and transformative tourism that promotes the enjoyment and preservation of the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of the La Macarena region. Our company designs and operates authentic travel experiences with high standards of quality, safety, and warmth, ensuring that each visitor has an enriching, respectful, and environmentally conscious experience.
Our actions are geared toward generating value in local communities, dignifying the work of our employees, and contributing to collective well-being. We work collaboratively with the various stakeholders in the local tourism value chain: guides, canoeists, motorcycle taxi drivers, land transporters, restaurants, hotels, artisans, and representatives of the Llanero culture, promoting fair employment, opportunities for the municipality's youth, and strengthening the local identity.

Code of Conduct for the Prevention of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESCNNA)
At Caño Cristales Aventura Tours SAS, we are committed to the comprehensive protection of the rights of children and adolescents. We firmly reject all forms of child sexual exploitation and abuse, and in compliance with Colombian law, we have adopted the following Code of Conduct:
- Prohibition of illegal activities: We refrain from offering, directly or covertly, tourist plans that involve the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Responsible information: We do not provide information to tourists, either directly or indirectly, about places or people related to CSEC activities.
- Safe transportation: We refrain from transporting tourists to places that promote or permit the sexual exploitation of minors, nor do we accompany minors to accommodations intended for the purpose of exploitation.
- Transport with integrity: We do not provide vehicles or means of transportation that could be used for child sexual exploitation or abuse.
- Access control: We prevent minors from entering tourist establishments for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
- Staff Responsibility: We have implemented measures to prevent company employees from offering tourism services that involve sexual contact with minors.
- Active protection: We are committed to protecting all minors, whether national or foreign, from any form of violence or sexual exploitation by tourists.
- Timely reporting: We report any incident or suspicion of CSEC to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism and other relevant authorities. We have internal channels for receiving complaints.
- Prevention policy: We designed, implemented, and shared an internal CSEC prevention policy with our suppliers of goods and services.
- Ongoing training: We train all our employees and suppliers in the prevention of CSEC and the protection of children's rights.
- User Information: We inform tourists about the legal consequences of child sexual exploitation in Colombia.
- Transparency and Visibility: We post this Code of Conduct in a prominent location in our facilities, as a demonstration of our commitment to children and the rule of law.

Rejection of the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents
At Caño Cristales Aventura Tours SAS, we reject all forms of child sexual exploitation. We adhere to Law 679 of 2001 and Law 1329 of 2009, and we implement a firm Code of Conduct to prevent it.
